What does the PRINCE2 Practitioner course cover?

It builds on Foundation-level knowledge and focuses on practical application. You will learn to apply and tailor the principles, people guidance, practices, and processes to project scenarios.

What certification do I need before taking the exam?

You need PRINCE2 Foundation or another accepted qualification, including APM PMQ, APM PPQ, PMP®, CAPM®, or IPMA Levels A to D. You cannot sit the Practitioner exam without meeting one of these routes.

Are there age, literacy, or numeracy requirements?

What is the difference between Foundation and Practitioner?

Can I study at my own pace?

The main training is scheduled and trainer-led. You study online, but you attend live sessions over two days.

Learners who prefer self-paced online courses and bite-sized lessons should consider the separate eLearning option, which takes approximately 20 hours and provides 12 months of access.

Should I take a combined course?

A combined option may suit you if you need a complete learning journey from Foundation knowledge to Practitioner application. This standalone course is more suitable if you already meet the entry requirements.

Are exam results emailed within a few days?

You receive a preliminary result after finishing the open-book exam. Official results are normally available in your PeopleCert account within two business days, and you may also receive an email notification.

Does the certification expire?

Yes. You must renew your certification within three years of the award date to keep it current.

What is the Exam Pass Guarantee?

If you do not pass after completing an eligible Virtual Classroom course, you may be able to retake the same training free of charge. Conditions apply, and exam fees are not covered.
